| Forschner Cimeter Knife, Curved Blade, Granton, Rosewood, 12 in., 40232. Special order item not carried in stock, 2-3 weeks production lead time, non-returnable. The hollow ground, granton edge, allows food to fall away from the blade rather than sticking to it, helping the knife to cut more efficiently. Hollow ground blades have concave, beveled edges that are ground starting midway down the blade, instead of at the spine. Use this versatile knife for everything from dicing onions to slicing a roast. Our classic, traditional rosewood handle is designed to provide maximum comfort at all times. Renowned rosewood handles feature a carved handle design with the unique beauty of natural rosewood, extra durable. Cimeter knives are used for butchering large pieces of meat. It also works great for slicing meats, roasts, roast turkey and ham and into thin and even slices. High carbon stainless steel blades are hand finished in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen.
